Mass Verify / Features

All back-ends supported

This is perhaps the most important feature available. Mass Verify will work with any database you use for reporting.

Automatic Backups

Mass Verify will automatically create a backup of all reports before it modifies them. It will create a sub-folder within the directory you chose and copy all reports to that location.

Wild-card Search

Mass Verify will verify all reports in a directory. You can use the wild-card to specify a set of reports to verify. For example: if you change the POHead table you need to verify all purchase order reports. Use the wild-card to specify "PO*.rpt". If you have prefixed all your purchase order reports with PO, then you can save time and only verify the reports that need to be done. You can also do "*Inv*.rpt" to verify all reports that contain "Inv" in the file name.

Log in Parameters

With Mass Verify you can store your log in information so you don't have to re-enter it each time you run Mass Verify. Passwords are encrypted, so you can be sure they are safe from prying eyes.

Mass Verify Profile

Mass Verify allows you to save your connection properties to a file so they can be retrieved at a later date. You can create multiple profiles which means you can setup as many connections as you need for various reports, back-ends, and clients.

Command Line Parameters

You can include parameters when starting Mass Verify. These options are:

/d = default directory
/f = default file name
/p = default profile
/run = auto start Mass Verify.

"Massverify.exe" /d="Q:Reports" /f="*Inv*.rpt" /p="ACME Printing" /run
